One of our key learning experiences over the years has been that whilst SEO has the highest ROI (Return On Investment) it is a journey and one that can’t be hurried; yes, it does indeed take six to twelve months of focused effort to reach the top of Page 1 in the Google or Bing or Yahoo Search Engine results for your top twenty of so keyword clusters – and that takes patience Often we will recommend a multi-disciplinary approach that incorporates a combined paid, earned and owned digital media strategy. Such a strategy starts with some paid advertising and an actively concurrent implementation of content and SEO services, eventually phasing paid out of the mix as your organic Search Engine visibility gains traction.
Typically a company should earmark between 5-10% of revenues to your overall sales and marketing initiatives; let’s say your revenues are $2.0m and you decide to invest 10% of that in sales and marketing which is $200,000. We strongly recommend maintaining a sales resource (25%) to convert your larger sales (even if that is part time) and investing 25% in traditional marketing and the remaining $100,000 in the digital space; in this case we would recommend $40k on SEO, $40k on paid search and $20k on creating quality content.
Our SEO audit is a comprehensive inspection of your website through the eyes of the search engines. We analyze how well your site is targeting potential customers, and we identify what needs to be done to generate more organic traffic for your site (and more revenue for your company).
The audit is an essential component of every SEO strategy because it demystifies your site’s performance in the search engines. Once your site has been evaluated, you’ll know why your site ranks where it does, and more importantly, you’ll know how to improve those rankings and generate more revenue.
Your SEO Audit will open in a new window.
SEO projects typically range from around $4,500 to upwards of $30,000. In addition, you can expect to pay a monthly consulting fee, which can range from $250 to $5,000 depending on the quality of the vendor, website size, overall business goals, and target market. The amount you pay for SEO services will also depend on the size of your business and the extent of services you require. While SEO costs vary from agency to agency, it’s important to remember that you often get what you pay for when it comes to SEO services. When choosing an SEO agency, don’t compromise quality for “cheap” SEO services.
